Club Description:
Student Council at Southmoreland Middle School is open to students in grades 6-8. Student Council elections are conducted in home rooms with each home room electing one council member. That council member serves as a liaison between the Student Council and his/her class. The Student Council works on a number of projects involving fundraising and building school spirit, such as the Dawg Pound, Spirit Dress Days, Dances and various other activities to help promote a positive school climate at SMS.
